Series description
The Abigail Fortune series is a multimedia series created by Heidi K. of Team Fortune, starring the titular protagonist, Abigail Fortune; a cunning, pompous and charming gentlewoman thief, who chases after mystical treasures and artifacts. Every major entry in the series will have a different setting and general focus, while maintaining the central characters and conflicts.
Other major characters in the series include ICPO agents Cynthia Masefield and Neil Morgan, Abigail's long-time ally and informant Maria Montblanc, and many more. More information about characters can be found in the About page of this site. →

About Team Fortune
​
Team Fortune is a creative team created for the development of the Abigail Fortune series. The team was created and is led by Heidi K.; an independent artist and writer from Finland, also known by her pen name Fusoloid. In late 2014, after being inspired by the Lupin III series and RPG Maker games like The Witch's House, work on the Abigail Fortune series began, with Abigail Fortune and The Scarlet Fairy being her first game. Apart from Heidi K., the other significant/permanent member of Team Fortune is Feulin, an American artist who has worked on character designs for Abigail Fortune and the Dreams of Azure, illustrations for The Scarlet Emperor novella, and playtesting for both games in the series.
Series information

The series so far consists of one game, Abigail Fortune and the Scarlet Fairy, released in June 2017 and created using RPG Maker MV. Its sequel, Abigail Fortune and the Dreams of Azure, is currently under development, with its demo version being released in April 2019.

Several comics related to the series have been released; Chapter 0 - Before the Red is a prequel comic set before the events of The Scarlet Fairy and was released in May 2017 as a teaser to the upcoming game. AF Comic Shorts is a series of short comics originally released on the Abigail Fortune devblog, featuring the series characters in mostly humorous situations. The first run of the comic shorts, originally released from May 2018 to December 2018, was later collected into a single collection and released on itch.io. Qui Vivra Verra is a comic that ties into the ending of Before the Red, as well as the ending of The Scarlet Fairy, and was released in December 2018 to tease the announcement of Abigail Fortune and the Dreams of Azure.

Written works related to the series have also been released. Currently, the only written story published in the Abigail Fortune series is The Scarlet Emperor, a spinoff novella based on Abigail Fortune and the Scarlet Fairy.

The story and characters of the Abigail Fortune series, and the Abigail Fortune series itself, belong to the author, Heidi "Fusoloid" K.. Redistributing the games online without express permission from the author, redistributing the games under any other name than Team Fortune or Fusoloid, and using the characters for commercial projects without the express permission of the author, is strictly prohibited. Commissioning art or fanfiction of the characters of the series for personal use/enjoyment is allowed.

The author, Heidi K., as the head of Team Fortune, allows for the contents of the Abigail Fortune games and related official Abigail Fortune media to be published through video broadcasting services for any commercial or non-commercial purposes. Monetization of videos that contain gameplay footage or art from the games, images from the comics or written works, and pieces of official series artwork created by Fusoloid or Feulin, is legally and explicitly allowed by Team Fortune.
